Nehemiah's workshops and training sessions have been praised as engaging and transformative. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a current pursuit of a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from the University of Georgia, Nehemiah brings over half a decade of experience as a mental health therapist mentor and coach specializing in supporting K-12 and college students in their mental health journeys.
Nehemiah is a dynamic and energetic speaker dedicated to empowering his audience by helping them uncover “self” through their personal unique strengths. Nehemiah connects his early work as an educator to his current work as a counselor where he stresses that people grow in inches, not feet, with community, love, and patience is where we find the resilience and strength to navigate life's challenges.
Having navigated marginalized spaces himself, Nehemiah possesses a deep understanding of diverse backgrounds and is adept at guiding clients from all walks of life. Nehemiah speaks on topics of anxiety, self-preservation, and emotional regulation, while also working with families to connect and learn healthy communication strategies to foster understanding and support inside of the home.
